Refund policy
At House and Leaf, every order is carefully prepared and packaged to help ensure your plant care products arrive safely and ready to support your plant success journey. Due to the nature of our products, House and Leaf accepts returns and refunds only for items that arrive damaged.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, we are here to help.
To qualify for a replacement or refund, customers must:
• Contact House and Leaf within 48 hours of delivery
• Email: hello@houseandleaf.com
• Include clear photos of:
- The damaged item
- The product packaging
- The shipping box and label
Once the damage is verified, House and Leaf will provide either:
• A replacement product, or
• A refund issued to the original payment method
House and Leaf reserves the right to determine eligibility for replacements or refunds based on submitted documentation.
Items Not Eligible for Refund or Return
House and Leaf does not accept returns or refunds for:
• Change of mind
• Incorrect product selection
• Customer preference or expectation differences
• Improper product use or failure to follow provided care instructions
• Normal plant variation, growth differences, or natural plant characteristics
• Environmental plant care outcomes such as watering frequency, lighting conditions, or routine consistency
Our educational resources and plant care guidance are provided to support customer success, but plant growth results may vary based on environment and care practices.
Order Cancellations & Changes
Orders begin processing shortly after purchase. Because of this, House and Leaf cannot guarantee order cancellations or changes once an order has been placed.
If you need to request a cancellation or update, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has already entered processing or shipment, cancellation may not be available.
Shipping Address Responsibility
Customers are responsible for entering accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.
House and Leaf is not responsible for:
• Orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
• Lost or delayed packages caused by incorrect shipping details
If an order is returned due to an address error, customers may be responsible for additional shipping charges to resend the order.
Processing Refunds
If a refund is approved:
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method
• Please allow 5–10 business days for processing depending on your financial institution
